A Texas Snowstorm, Natural Disasters, & Digital Stories

I created a this short digital story to showcase a glimpse on my experience during the Texas winter storm that took place in February, 2021. This was the closest experience to a natural disaster that I have personally ever encountered. This is tied to our project based learning unit on natural disasters. Students could create their own digital stories based on learning about the experiences of other regions who have gone through natural disasters. This can also correlate natural disasters with history content or a lesson, by the digital stories that are based on the experience of past historical disasters or as journal entries making connections to those who have witnessed and encountered these natural phenomenon's.
